Classic Derby: In England they are called Bowler or Coke hats; it depends who you believe invented it, John Bowler or Edward Coke. In America we call it a Derby since it was the preferred hat one wore to go to the Horse Derby. It was a dressy hat worn by bankers and even Billy the Kid sported one.
