I got several calls from a Hollywood stylist asking about top hats. Seems a client wanted to wear one at the Emmy Award Show. They mentioned he was wearing a Morning Suit. She sent an assistant and she picked up three different styles in black. The show aired but unfortunately I didn’t watch it. My fiancé asked if the gray top hat some actor was wearing was from my store. I said unfortunately no, they only took black ones.
So today they returned the three black ones. I asked if the guy that wore the gray top hat was their client. They said yes. I was disappointed. I said I sold gray top hats. Why didn’t they buy one from me? They said; “we didâ€. It seems they came by Saturday and picked up the grey one and I wasn’t aware of it. He picked our opera felt hat in light gray.
